Bipasha & Kangna don't need the Khans

Bipasha and Kangna have reportedly claimed that they don't need the Khans to make it to the top.
Bipasha's 'jodi' with Madhavan is indeed looking good in Jodi Breakers and while the 'unconventional pairing' has been hailed so far on the basis of promos, one also can't ignore the fact that she is one of the very few actresses in the top rung who hasn't been paired with the top three Khans (Aamir, Salman and Shahrukh) so far.

Except for No Entry where Salman Khan played her friend, she has never shared screen space with him.
Even with Shahrukh Khan, she only did a blink-and-you-would-miss appearance in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi for the song 'Phir Milenge Chalte Chalte'.
As for Aamir Khan, the two have never been seen together in a film. Is it a coincidence but somehow there was never a project conceived where the makers could imagine Bipasha along with a Khan.
Still, it is quite apparent that the tag of being 'an outsider' did hurt Bipasha as each of her contemporaries did see some good push in their career as they worked with the Khans.
While Kareena could well hold the record of doing the maximum 'Khan films', Katrina is working with each of them as well while Priyanka has been fortunate in this regard too. On the other hand Bipasha has managed to make a place in the list of top actresses in Bollywood despite no 'Khan film' in her kitty.
"If you look at the way Bipasha has conducted herself in the industry, she has pretty much managed a no compromise stance," says a friend of the actress, "While she has seen quite a few ups and downs in her personal life as well as professional career, one thing that she strongly believes in is her inherent self confidence and the correct attitude. She is a survivor. If she has managed that so far with her head high, she would do that in future as well."
Even Kangna claims she doesn't need to belong to any 'Khan Camp' to get work. Fashion star Kangna Ranaut finally seems to have drawn her claws against her competitors in Bollywood. Ranaut, who is brand ambassador for Sohail Khan's Celebrity Cricket League team 'Mumbai Heroes', recently made it clear that she has not associated with the team for any professional gain.
When asked if being the brand ambassador for Sohail Khan's team would mean she is a part of Salman Khan's camp, Ranaut was quoted to have said, "Firstly, I don't need to be in any camps or with the Khans to get work. I am well-settled in my space as an actor. I am not insecure like other actresses, who use the Khans as a tool to get more work. People choose me for my skills as an actor, not because I am their good friend!"

However, Ranaut also claimed that she has found a good friend in some industry biggies. "I feel I have been really lucky to have found a few, but very good friends in Salman, Hrithik Roshan, Riteish Deshmukh and Madhur Bhandarkar."
